Shoes Instead Of Mass Demonstrations

The government has cancelled public demonstrations on climate warming as a result of terrorist attacks in Paris.

So the climate organization was launched in November 29th.

More than 20 thousand pairs of shoes have been filled with the Republic Square of Paris. Pope Francis and Secretary General Ban Ki-moon have also donated shoes to support this.

According to Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao, citing the British guardian and other media sources in November 29th, people from more than 100 countries and regions in the world have been holding demonstrations since 27, urging leaders to reach an agreement on curbing global warming.

Taking part in the action, the United Nations uploaded photos on its Twitter, and wrote: when the whole world is gathered in Paris for the action of climate action, let us also stand up with shoes as terrorist attacks, wars and victims of persecution.

The Catholic Pope Francis also donated a pair.

The Pope's eco adviser also appealed to Catholics to take part in the 29 day climate parade.

In an internal letter to all bishops, he said that people should be encouraged to exercise "ecological citizenship".

Paris, France, in November 30th, the United Nations Climate Summit (COP21) will be held.

This is the largest international climate summit since 2009 in Copenhagen, and nearly 150 leaders from all over the world will attend.
