How To Manually Close The Ports That Are Not Commonly Used In The System

Q: it is said that the ports in the server are more open, which will bring hidden trouble to the system security.

Answer: there are many ways to close the port. Here we recommend a way to close the system port by setting the local connection property.

First, double-click the local connection in the "network connection" of the control panel to open the local connection status window.

Click the Properties button to open the local connection properties dialog box. Then select the Internet protocol (TCP/IP) project, click the Properties button to open the Internet protocol (TCP/IP) property dialog box, click here on the advanced button, open the advanced TCP/IP settings dialog box, switch to the option interface in the window, select TCP/IP filter in "optional settings", then click properties to open the TCP/IP Filter dialog box, check the "enable TCP/IP filter" check box here, so that the system will close through all ports of the connection.

When we need to enable a port, we need to add it below, click the "allow only" command on the "TCP port", then click the Add button to add the port number to be enabled. After adding, we continue to add "UDP port", and then click OK.
