Quanzhou Sewing Machine Equipment "To Replace The Old" To Resist The Financial Crisis
The global financial crisis has reduced the overall profit of sewing equipment industry. But there is a phenomenon in Quanzhou. On the one hand, sales of low-end sewing equipment have dropped by nearly 80%, but on the other hand, high-end equipment has increased by more than 30%.
In the Hongyuan Group's textile workshop, spinning equipment imported from Italy has replaced the old equipment. (Chen Cangsong, vice president of Hongyuan Group Co., Ltd.): "at this time, the introduction of these advanced equipment in procurement is relatively cheap, and the price is relatively low. The cost performance is greatly improved. The most fundamental way to deal with the crisis is technological progress, independent innovation, improving the quality of enterprises and the core competitiveness of enterprises." According to accounting, the introduction of new equipment at this time can save about 10% yuan, or about 1 million yuan.
More importantly, when the equipment is put into use, it will increase output value of about 140 million yuan this year, and it will increase to 2.5 billion next year.
Both the state and local governments have introduced a series of policies to stimulate domestic demand, and encouraging enterprises to introduce advanced equipment is one of them. Many garment and textile enterprises in Quanzhou have changed their impetuous mentality in pursuit of orders in the past, strengthened ties and strengthened cooperation through external market links, and upgraded production facilities through "replacing the old with new ones".
