The Art College of Qiqihar University is located in the hometown of the famous Red Crowned Crane, the charming city of China and the beautiful lakeside Lake in Qigihar. It is a base for the training of talents in art design, music and art in the western part of Heilongjiang province. The college has 24 thousand square meters of Art Center building. Excellent teaching environment, advanced and complete teaching facilities, dedicated high-level teachers, high-quality teaching level, advanced personnel training mode, and scientific and modern management have laid a solid foundation for training talents with extensive scientific and cultural knowledge as well as artistic talents with profound artistic accomplishment, excellent skills and innovative ability.
The college consists of 5 departments, namely, the Department of art and design (industrial product plastic arts design, visual communication art design, decorative art design, fashion design and fashion show, environmental art and interior design, computer advertising and animation art design), music department (Shi Fanlei), music performance department (vocal music performance, keyboard performance, instrumental music performance, computer music production, dance choreography), art department (normal school), painting department (Chinese painting, oil painting, murals) and so on, and there are 22 professional directions, among which the subject of design art has the right to grant master's degree. There are over 2700 undergraduates and 30 graduate students.
There are 164 teachers in the college, including 54 professors and associate professors, 24 Ph. D and master degrees, and 20 internationally renowned guest professors. Among the teachers are well-known experts in art and design education, music professors who have obtained national invention patents, young conductors who have won many gold awards from international and national level, and young teachers who have won prizes in the national youth TV singer contest.
The college attaches great importance to academic exchanges and academic atmosphere. We often invite famous scholars from Germany, Britain, Russia, Canada, Austria, Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Hongkong, Macao, Taiwan and other countries to teach or teach. Korea Korea University, Japan New Diarrhea Universities and universities in Russia often carry out academic exchanges. Teachers are also planned to go abroad to study and give lectures. The international modern design expert forum and the golden linen Cup China's first linen costume design competition were successfully held. It hosted the first National Glass Art Symposium and the exhibition of "the realm of Han Mo" by 12 famous Chinese painters. Through drawing on the advanced teaching experience and teaching concepts at home and abroad, the Institute has actively explored the reform of the school running mode, so that the teaching level has been greatly improved, the social impact has been continuously enhanced, and a large number of outstanding artistic talents have been trained for the country and the society. 2008 Yao Yingjia, the leader of the torch design team of Beijing Olympic Games and vice president of Lenovo Group, is an outstanding representative of the outstanding graduates of our college.
The college has complete teaching facilities. It has a modern digital piano collective classroom and computer music production classroom, music appreciation room, modern concert hall, exhibition hall, dance hall, rehearsal hall, musical instruments, all kinds and quantity are sufficient. The CAD classroom, costume design laboratory, sculpture laboratory, photographic laboratory, art exhibition hall, skylight classroom and adequate teaching equipment and equipment in various fields of art and art design have laid a solid material foundation for the cultivation of art talents.
