Although Sichuan, Chongqing and Shaanxi now have some cocoons on the market, there are not many of them. At the same time, due to the low temperature in the near future, it is expected that the full listing of Sichuan silkworm cocoons will have to wait until mid June, while Chongqing and Shaanxi will be in the early June.

The quantity of the first batch of silkworm eggs released in Sichuan and Chongqing this year is basically the same as that of the same period last year. Cocoon output is estimated to be unchanged from the same period last year.

The local government authorities announced that the guidance price of cocoon purchase was 20 yuan / kg, but from the current situation, the actual purchase price of the market may be higher than the price of 20 yuan / kg, and the price of the local drying unit is expected to be over 25 yuan / kg.

Shaanxi's cocoon purchase price is 25.2 yuan / kg, and the gross discount is estimated at 290-310. Combined with the acquisition situation of cocoons in other provinces and cities, the purchase price is expected to reach 27-28 yuan / kg.
