Trade union leaders in the Department warned the government that they will strike nationwide in the end of 7 in industrial centres related to garment and garment industries.

After 5 days of upheaval, the Ministry of labour announced that the minimum wage will increase before Ramadan, and a committee has been set up in this regard.

In raising the minimum monthly wage, the current cost of living of workers will be taken into account.
