Consumers Association: Mountaineering Clothing Needs Scientific Purchase

The Chinese consumers' Association recently released a comparative test on mountaineering clothes: the quality of mainstream brands is relatively reliable.

In view of the large amount of outdoor clothing and daily life dual-use mountaineering clothes purchased by the vast number of consumers, the Chinese Consumers Association workers bought random samples of 10 mainstream brands such as Pathfinder, Ai Wei, north, ewe, Kay, Bbu Ryak, Esso, camel, St. Valentine, mu Stag and so on in Beijing Sanfo outdoor sports shop, extreme experience club and Niho outdoor shopping mall 4+2 equipment store, and commissioned the national fiber quality supervision and Inspection Center for a comparative test.

With more and more people coming out of the open air, outdoor sports products are becoming more and more popular, and the quality of products has attracted more and more attention.

Of the 10 brands, 6 brands showed basic safety standards and safety categories, 2 brands showed safety categories, and 2 brands did not express basic safety standards and safety categories.

The use of banned decomposable aromatic amine dyes has not been found in this test, and the color fastness of the products has not appeared.

The analysis of routine performance test showed that 7 brands of the 10 brands of mountaineering clothes showed the implementation standard of the products, and 3 brands did not specify the implementation standards of the products.

The basic safety performance of the 10 brand products tested by this comparative test is in line with the requirements of the relevant national standards. The regular wear performance of the products is also in line with the requirements of the product standards specified.

Lack of information in product identification is also a problem found in this test.
