Last year, the region put the work of energy conservation and consumption reduction into the responsibility system of the annual important work objectives of the district and district governments, formulated and promulgated the "management measures for special funds for energy conservation and consumption reduction in Lucheng", and increased policy support for energy conservation and consumption reduction.

Through policy support to enhance the enthusiasm of enterprises to participate in cleaner production, at present, 28 enterprises in the region have been checked and accepted by provincial and municipal "cleaner production".

In September of the same year, the overall implementation plan of the tannery industry renovation project in Lucheng was promulgated, and the reconstruction project was further discussed and implemented.

After tannery and electroplating industry renovation and "green cell" project construction and so on, the environmental quality of Lucheng district is improving steadily. The emissions of two main pollutants such as chemical oxygen demand and sulfur dioxide have achieved double decline for two consecutive years. The rate of urban sewage treatment in the whole region has reached 92.91%, and the harmless treatment rate of domestic waste is 100%.

Last year, the number of days of ambient air was 347 days.
