Workplace Survival Skills: Never Be "Number One"

1., there must be a circle.

No matter what they do is to draw the line: to join the circle and become the enemy of another circle without joining a circle; to join the two circles is not to join the circle.

Only the elites of defeat alone can completely avoid the plaguing of circles. Such people usually have only one circle, and only one boss is in the circle.

2., we must strive to become the second place.

The number of places is directly proportional to the number of people who help you. If you are the first, you will be the second place for lack of help; the second place will always be a place where there are many advantages and disadvantages, and the disadvantage is that you will never be the first.

3., the definition of responsibility must be understood.

Responsibility is what you have to do, but the law of survival in the office is that responsibility is all work outside the work you have to do.

4. it must be understood that overtime is an art.

If you work at work, you will be considered undiligent because you have not worked overtime. If you do not work at work, you will be considered inefficient and have to work overtime.

5. must attend every meal.

If you join in, your speech at dinner will become a rumor; if you do not participate, your gossip will become a dinner statement.

6. we must understand the Eight Diagrams theorem.

With more than one colleague becoming a close friend, all your shortcomings and privacy will be disclosed in the office. If you become close friends with a colleague below, everyone will be interested in your shortcomings and privacy.

7., we must be skilled in accepting criticism.

Facing your boss's judgement, you think you are right, you lack the ability to recognize problems; think you are wrong, you do not have the ability to solve problems -- the best way to accept mistakes is to avoid mistakes.

The key is not to talk justice with the boss.

8., we must understand the meaning of "muddleheaded".

Muddling makes you feel that you have no idea and don't be confused to make you feel difficult to get along with others.

9., we must understand that collectivism is a choice.

If you do not support most people's decisions, your ideas will not be passed; if you support most people's decisions, you will reduce opportunities for promotion -- people with ability are always on the opposite side of the collective.

10., we must respect seniority.

If you do not recognize your predecessors, your predecessors will not give you a chance to get promoted; if you recognize your predecessors, you will not get promoted before your predecessors are promoted. The whole role of seniority is to prepare for the day ahead of you.
