The three day Chinese women's shoes city international procurement Festival ended in Chengdu last month. The local shoe industry in China has been making great splendor in this procurement Festival. The famous footwear brands from Italy and Italy have also been promoted and promoted in China.

China's footwear industry is trying its best to eliminate trade frictions and promote mutual profits.

At present, the production scale of the global footwear industry has reached 16 billion pairs. In 2006, China reached about 8000000000 pairs, accounting for 50% of the global footwear production scale.

In the western part of China, there are as many as 1700 shoemaking enterprises in Chengdu. In the core area of Chengdu shoe industry, the shoe making and supporting enterprises of 80% of Sichuan shoe industry have been gathered in the core area of nearly 5 square kilometers, with 150 thousand employees and 160 million pairs of leather shoes annually, with an annual production value of 15 billion yuan.

With the rapid expansion of the scale of China's footwear industry, the trade frictions between China and the EU and Russia have begun to escalate.

At this procurement Festival, the organizers introduced brand names of shoes in Italy, Spain and other countries, and organized the forum and product exhibition to help foreign shoe brands to promote local businesses, promote exchanges between the two sides, eliminate misunderstanding in trade, and seek for the harmonious development of Chinese and foreign footwear industry.

This procurement Festival is the first time that there are first line brands in Italy, Spain and other countries.

These include Venice BALLIN, Marche's DINOBIGION, Spain Wonders and so on, representing the top level of world footwear industry.

Xu Yong, honorary director of China Leather Association, said that the relationship between China and the European Union and Russia in the development of footwear industry should not be a simple competition, but a relationship between competition and cooperation, seeking development in complementarity.

The production ability and processing level of the shoe industry in China have been greatly developed in recent years, but it is still in the lower reaches of the whole industrial chain.

Italy, Spain and other countries have a prominent position in standard setting and product design. This advantage will last for a long time. Only by demanding cooperation can win-win and harmonious development be achieved.

Franco Balin, vice chairman of Italy Footwear Manufacturers Association, said China is not a competitor but a complementary partner.
