In recent years, under the personal organization of Vice Mayor Cao Aihua and the guidance of the Large Event Office, as well as the leadership of Secretary General Yu Jianjun, the Expo has initially formed a complete industrial chain, gradually extending from a single exhibition and marketing function, in terms of foreign exchange and cooperation, strengthening the integration of industry and trade, and improving the function of urbanization services, In particular, it has played a positive role in promoting the development of local industries. In 2011 alone, 52 international brands such as JUMA in Canada and BYBLOS in Italy entered the Chinese market through the exhibition; The transaction volume directly or indirectly contributed reached 600 million yuan.

1、 Overview of the exhibition (time, place and venue)


2012 China (Dalian) International Clothing textile The Expo will be held in the World Expo Plaza and Convention Center from September 8 to 11, with an exhibition area of 40000 square meters. The Expo Plaza is a professional exhibition with 900 standard booths. It is divided into five exhibition areas:


(1) The overseas haute couture exhibition area consists of 110 overseas brands from 16 countries and regions, accounting for 40% of the total area of the exhibition area, an increase of 15% over last year;


(2) There are 60 enterprises and 10 designers in Dalian Enterprise Exhibition Area, accounting for 20% of the total area;


(3) National independent brands and fabric accessories and fashion accessories exhibition areas from 32 cities nationwide, accounting for 40% of the total area;


(4) International fashion linen trend release, located in the lobby of the Expo Plaza;

Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center is mainly retail, with 500 booths.


2、 Key points of preparations for the 2012 International Service Expo


  In 2012, we carried out various work around the following priorities:


   1. Focus on improving exhibition quality


Over the years, more than 700 international brands, including Armani, Zegna and Swarovski, have been introduced through the Dalian International Service Expo. The function of "brand introduction platform" has formed a high influence in the world. This year, under the situation that the European economy is not very prosperous, CIFIT will try every way to extend the service functions of the exhibition and enhance the participation confidence of overseas customers. Jointly with the Italian government of Marche Region, a 700 square meter fashion living hall in Marche Region was established. At present, 18 brands including White lab culture, Fabio Anibaldi, Dario Clotti, Estele and Tombolini have been confirmed to participate in the exhibition; It also cooperated with the Japanese Consulate to plan a display area of 750 square meters and launch the Japanese Fashion Life Exhibition Hall. The museum mainly introduces Japanese brand clothing, jewelry, advanced customization, kimono, sportswear, etc. In addition, Dalian Northeast Asia International Brand Commodity Trading Center has also exhibited more than 50 overseas brands with an area of 1500 square meters. South Korea's PARKLAND participated in the exhibition with an area of nearly 600 square meters. At the same time, Canadian designer team, Taiwan Textile Development Association, Taiwan Glove Trade Union and other institutions also took their outstanding brands to the exhibition at the same time. The number of overseas brands exhibited exceeded previous ones.


2. Innovate trade docking mode and promote trade


As the core service project of the exhibition, business docking has always been one of the important factors to attract merchants to participate in the exhibition. At this exhibition, the organizing committee invited 30000 traders, buyers and professional visitors from 32 countries and regions, including the United States, Britain, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Japan, South Korea, and more than 50 cities in China. Overseas merchants increased by 30% compared with last year.


In the past, traders would seek trade opportunities on their own after convening the meeting. In this exhibition, the organizing committee innovated the trade docking mode, made great efforts on the effectiveness of docking, carried out a detailed pre exhibition trade demand survey, and enhanced the efficiency of on-site docking and trading. Organized the "Matchmaking Meeting between the Buyers and Suppliers of Surface and Auxiliary Materials" for the upstream and downstream docking of the clothing industry chain; In addition, the "Transnational Professional Buyer Procurement Fair" held in 2011 was welcomed by exhibitors and traders at home and abroad. This year, the Organizing Committee summed up its experience, expanded the scale of the event, increased the invitation and scope of overseas buyers, and increased the number of negotiations. At the same time, in order to provide more trade opportunities for local industries, we also separately organized "China's Famous Suit City, Dalian Enterprises and National Industrial Clusters Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference" and "Hand in Hand Bonded Zone - the Second International Professional Buyers' Purchasing Conference" for Pulandian City. At that time, the exhibition hall will usher in a new situation of "docking every day and trade everywhere".


3. Promote the development of local industries


For many years, the Fair has been trying to promote and publicize local enterprises in Dalian, hoping to build an exhibition platform for enterprises. After a lot of market research and demonstration, we gave full play to the resource advantages accumulated over the years. After more than a year of efforts, during the 2011 exhibition, among the 182 industrial clusters in China, Pulandian Municipal Government was the only "China's Famous Suit City" certified by the China Textile Industry Federation and the China Garment Association. Dalian garment enterprises have stepped onto a new stage, and their external competitive advantages have been strengthened.


In order to expand the influence of a famous suit city, drive the common development of garment fabrics, accessories and other related industries, and revitalize Dalian's garment industry, Pulandian City will join hands with the leading enterprise Dayang Group to announce the joint launch of the construction of a "public service platform" at this clothing expo to help SMEs integrate and use resources rationally, reduce operating costs, and resist competitive risks, More enterprises with standardized management, diversified products and core competitiveness have emerged in Pulandian and Dalian.


At the same time, in order to show the development of Dalian clothing in recent years, broaden the trade channels at home and abroad for Dalian enterprises, and grasp more popular information, this clothing expo has specially built a Dalian exhibition area for Dalian clothing enterprises and well-known designers. At that time, Dayang Group, which has participated in the exhibition for 23 consecutive years, and Sang Fulan, Sifan, Bihai and other enterprises, which are among the top 100 Chinese apparel companies, will make a wonderful appearance with a large lineup. Yu Zezheng, Han Li, Zhou Hong and Ren Ping, who have won the title of China's Top Ten Designers, will also bring the latest design boutiques to show their style. At the same time, we also organized international fashion design masters to have face-to-face dialogues and exchanges with Dalian designers.


3、 Two Innovations of the 2012 International Service Expo


1. Opening ceremony - pragmatic, innovative and concise


Breaking the traditional form, there is no leader to make speeches. At the opening, 40 male models in Dayang suits made a shocking appearance; Then, use multimedia to intensively display the development achievements and leading role of the Clothing Expo in the past 23 years, as well as the collective rise of the local clothing industry; As the highlight of the opening ceremony, the Italian Marche Region Government, the Japanese Consulate, the European Flax and Cannabis Federation, Pulandian - a famous city of Chinese suits, China Book Import and Export Corporation, the World Association of Hair Stylists (hereinafter referred to as ICD), etc. will also show the achievements of cooperation and exchange with the International Fashion Expo one after another; In addition, the four international design masters who have attracted much attention at Paris Fashion Week and London Fashion Week will also bring more than 20 world top models to highlight the world's most cutting-edge fashion trends. This year's opening ceremony will be held in the multi-function hall on the second floor of the World Expo Plaza. The site area is the largest in history, more than 5000 square meters, and top domestic runway designers and famous editors and directors are invited to design and plan the opening ceremony.


4. International Fashion Week - new ideas for the development of innovative exhibitions


After several years of cultivation and development, the International Fashion Week is the first in China to inject new "blood" into the sustainable development of the exhibition. The first Fashion Week will be composed of ICD (International Association of Hair Stylists) series of activities, 2012 China International Flax Fashion Conference, Charming Canada - the World Fashion Music Festival, the International Fine Books Exhibition of Clothing and Costumes, and performances, which are rich in content, extremely influential and attractive.


① The "ICD Series Activities" Dalian Fashion Expo has held fashion hair release shows for nearly 10 years. After two years of investigation, ICD with a history of 100 years has specifically designated the Fashion Expo as the only partner, and preferred Dalian as its permanent branch venue. At that time, ICD will invite the most influential international hair stylists to do trend release, salon forum and other activities.


② "2012 China International Flax Fashion Conference" This year, the organizing committee innovated the content and form of the fashion trend release, and "green" became the main theme. It signed a three-year cooperation agreement with European Flax Hemp Federation, China Flax Textile Industry Association and Dalian University of Technology to jointly hold the "2012 China International Flax Fashion Conference".

④ With an area of nearly 3000 square meters, Dalian Company, a Chinese book import and export company, selected more than 200 fashion publishing institutions in Britain, the United States, France and other countries.
