The competition is sponsored by China finance, trade, light textile and tobacco trade union and the National Federation of trade union women's staff committee.

Since the start of March this year, the national sub committee has received 752 entries from 188 athletes from 17 provinces and districts.

After the initial evaluation, 160 pieces of 40 contestants were finally selected for the finals.
