Shoe Capital Jinjiang Builds National Sports Industry Demonstration Base
At the twenty-second China International Sporting Goods Fair, which ended in June 1st, the first City Pavilion, the "sports city of China" Jinjiang Pavilion, attracted widespread attention.
It is understood that Jinjiang will rely on the sports industry and strive to build China's third national sports industry base.
According to reports, Jinjiang's sports economy started with sports shoes, and then extended to sportswear, sports equipment and accessories. At present, the sports industry contributes 18% to the city's GDP.
Since the end of last year, the State General Administration of sport approved the construction of the national sports industry base in Jinjiang. As the third national sports industry base after Shenzhen and Chengdu, Jinjiang has made efforts to build a global sports equipment manufacturing base and state-level sports training base in order to build a national sports competition center.
