A female university student in Britain lost more than 7000 pounds after she broke her ankle with her heels.

The British Daily Telegraph reported on 8 days that Sophie Kim is 20 years old and a student at Durham University.

One night in November 2004, Kim wore the newly bought Dolcis high heels and went out to play.

The shoes cost 35 pounds (about 70 dollars) at that time.

When walking down the platform of the tram, the heel of the left foot of the gold was broken, which made her fall.

Although the pain was unbearable, she insisted on going to the bar to prevent her friends from being disappointed.

"I feel better after a few drinks," she recalls.

But the next scenario I can remember is that I lost consciousness and was lying in an ambulance.

Because of his left ankle injury, Kim had to give up tennis, basketball and hockey.

The Dolcis brand chain acknowledged that the heel design of the high-heeled shoes was defective and agreed to pay 7200 pounds ($14 thousand).
