Shijiazhuang Civil Affairs Department Donated Famous Brand Clothes To Xibaipo Town

"For the first time in my life, I wore a suit."

Yesterday, Li Jianchang, a 75 year old farmer from Xibaipo town of Pingshan County, pulled the corner of his new suit and said happily.

Yesterday, the provincial Civil Affairs Office donated more than 5000 brand-new famous brand costumes to the poor peasants in Pingshan County, worth 3 million yuan. The provincial Civil Affairs Office officially launched the "warm winter campaign".

Yesterday morning, 3 trucks loaded with gift clothes went into the government of Xibaipo town in Pingshan County. This is the 5613 "YOUNGOR" suits, shirts and sweaters raised by the provincial Civil Affairs Department. They are all new.

The donors hope that half of these clothes will be given to the masses in Xibaipo Town, and half of them will be donated to other poor people by Pingshan County Civil Administration Bureau.

Li Jianchang, a 75 year old farmer from Xibaipo Town, Pingshan County, came to the scene. He was covered with white towels on his head, and he got a brand-new suit with a few old man.

Everyone was very happy. They tried to look at each other and looked at each other. They couldn't help themselves. "This is the first time to wear Western clothes. We need clothes like this. It's good to wear such clothes on holidays."

It is learnt that these garments will be distributed to local people who need most, such as low insured households, five insured households, preferential treatment and difficult families.
