Xinhua news agency, Beijing, February 5 (reporter Chen Weiwei, Wang Yuxiao) reporter learned from the Ministry of Commerce on 5, the Ministry of Commerce issued the notice on helping foreign trade enterprises overcome difficulties and reduce losses.

The circular pointed out that at present, the outbreak of pneumonia caused by a new coronavirus infection in China is facing difficulties in the normal production and operation of our foreign trade enterprises. In order to actively respond to epidemic situation and help enterprises to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests and reduce economic losses, the Ministry of Commerce has instructed six chambers of Commerce, textile, light industry, Minmetals, food and soil, machinery and electronics, medical insurance, etc. to do a good job in providing relevant services such as force majeure certification, legal advice, participation in exhibition coordination, supply and demand docking, etc.

The notice is clear that the chambers of Commerce will assist the enterprises in need, and will issue a force majeure factual proof that the epidemic can not fulfill the delivery on time. All chambers of Commerce will provide necessary legal and information services to enterprises in view of relevant trade restrictions caused by the epidemic. The chambers of Commerce will coordinate the domestic and foreign exhibition organizations to help the enterprises unable to attend the exhibition abroad to properly handle the related issues such as paid fees. The chambers of Commerce will strengthen communication links with enterprises and local governments, share information on products and services in a timely manner, and build bridges between supply and demand.
