Shuangfeng County Tens Of Thousands Of Migrant Workers Return Home, Shoe Enterprises To Re Employment
Du Huaiyuan, a farmer in Yongfeng town of Shuangfeng County in Guangdong Province, did not expect to return to her hometown for less than 1 months because of the layoffs. She was hired by a shoe company at home. The condition was no worse than that in Guangdong. The reporter learned from Shuangfeng Rongcheng shoe industry that in the past 1 months, nearly 100 migrant workers who returned home from coastal areas were invited to enter factories. According to statistics, there are more than 6 migrant workers returning home in Shuangfeng County, and nearly 10000 people have succeeded in re employment.
Shuangfeng County attaches great importance to the re employment of Returned Migrant workers, specially convened a forum to investigate and find out the basic situation of returning migrant workers, and to carry out the activities of "10000 party members and cadres to help and return migrant workers" at all levels of Party organizations in the county. The returning migrant workers are all included in the scope of public training of the government. The skills training of young returning migrant workers is included in the "3 years' hard work plan for vocational education", and migrant workers are organized to participate in professional skills, skills training and vocational education, such as driving, computer, welder, electrician, cooking, tourism, hotel services, special breeding, and so on, to improve their employment skills.
To help migrant workers return home to implement basic old-age insurance, medical and industrial injury insurance, new rural cooperative medical care and other policies, help migrant workers to pfer and connect social insurance in different places, strengthen the prevention and control of disease prevention and control of migrant workers, family planning and compulsory education for their children. In accordance with the law, we should regulate Occupational intermediary and labor dispatching activities, severely crack down on illegal and criminal behaviors of migrant workers, and timely and properly handle labor disputes caused by layoffs to help wage arrears of migrant workers. For migrant workers returning home to start their own businesses, they should give preferential treatment to projects equal to investment projects in all aspects of land use, project promotion and financial support.
Shuangfeng county also adjusted the investment idea in a timely manner, relying on the abundant labor resources in this county, and made the shoemaking industry, knitting industry and other labor-intensive industries as the focus of attracting investment, and introduced several labor intensive enterprises such as Rongcheng shoes industry and Xing an international. Only the enterprises in the Development Zone provided more than 5000 jobs for migrant workers.
