India Federation Export Organization Delegation Will Visit China In April 15Th

The Federation export organization of India (FIEO) is participating in the 105th Canton Fair held in Guangzhou, China in from April 15 to 19, 2009.

The Canton Fair is the second largest trade fair in the world. FIEO has been designated as the international exhibition agent in India.



The FIEO delegation has 95 business members from India. They will showcase India's superior products, such as machinery and equipment, raw materials, textile materials, consumer goods, jewelry, furniture, watches and clocks, sporting goods, handicrafts and so on.



Today, China and India are the two emerging economic giants in the world.

Trade between India and China has been increasing year by year.

Bilateral trade reached US $37 billion 900 million in 2007-08, and the two sides set a target of US $60 billion in 2010.

India needs diversified export baskets and expanded value added products to cover the trade deficit of US $16 billion 281 million 560 thousand.

Participating in the Canton Fair can give India businessmen the opportunity to establish business contacts with similar enterprises in various fields.



During the visit of the delegation of India, FIEO will organize a seminar with the China Council for the promotion of international trade (CCPIT) and the Consulate General of India for export promotion. Meanwhile, the FIEO Mr Ajay Sahai will introduce participants to India's investment environment and invite participants to invest in India.
