International Environmental Expo Opens In HK To Help Industry Catch "Green Business Opportunities"

 

Xinhua news agency, Hongkong, October, 30, the Fourteenth International Environmental Expo opened in Hongkong, attracting more than 300 exhibitors from 17 countries and regions to showcase new technologies and products of different green industries to help the industry catch up with the latest "green business opportunities".

The exhibition was held at the Asia International Expo in Hongkong. With the theme of "reducing carbon and reducing waste and creating innovation", the exhibition has ten major zones: "water treatment and water quality management", "green building and energy efficiency", "green transportation", "waste disposal and recycling", covering different green industries.

Among them, the "Guangdong, Hongkong and Macau" area, which was set up last year, has collected nearly 100 exhibitors from the big bay city to promote cooperation in environmental protection in the Tai Wan area. The "start-up" area attracted 18 local start-ups to showcase Hongkong's new green technology force to global buyers.

Zhou Qiliang, acting chief executive of Hongkong Trade Development Council, said at the opening ceremony of the exhibition that the exhibition will help the industry explore green business opportunities and promote low carbon economy and life by bringing together environmental technologies around the world.

In the 4 day extension, the last day is "public day" for free admission to the public. Activities such as "green workshop" and "green market" are encouraged to practice environmental protection.
